Did you have updates enabled in BI? Wondering if an auto update maybe went wrong?

Have you checked if the recording files are actually there present on the drive itself?
Use Windows Explorer and navigate to the drive/folder and see if you play the clip directly by double-clicking one of the clip files?

If the desktop itself is locking up and or rebooting then I’d check the desktop itself, start by checking the memory, download a memory tester and see if that reports any problems.

Another thing to consider and I mention it as you mention that can accommodate 100 but you only have 70 devices, don't forget that CCTV cams will always stream data regardless of trigger events or triggered recording, so they will always be a load on your wifi network.
