Re: Upgrade from Intel 6th Gen to 8th Gen
I'm guessing you already know that the new cpu is faster than the old one ? i.e you didn't go for a low power new cpu  Have you set each camera to record direct to disk ? and I find sub-streams save more cpu than using Intel hardware gpu acceleration. Re: LaView lv-pz804n4
So for BI5 you have added the NVR IP address as if it was a camera, with the user/pw ? It should then be as simple as camera1, add another BI5 camera with same IP/user/pw and make it camera2 etc. Pogo has experience of this.

Re: AI Burn in on video files?
Yes, they are all visible in the recorded video files when playing back Alerts. I can see them on live video and recordings on UI3 too. I note I have "Burn label mark-up onto Alert images" in camera settings/Alert/AI. Could it be that ?

Re: newby with camera connection problems
And I note that Foscam Support state here: Attentions: Now the Foscam cameras are having random password. With the random password, the camera can not be added to the BlueIris software directly. Please add the camera to the Foscam app(cellphone) or Foscam VMS(computer) to set up username and passwor...

Re: newby with camera connection problems
Can you log into this camera with a browser ? I'm expecting http://192.168.1.22:88 to take you there. Can you log in to it with the username and password ?
There is something really basic that we are missing here.

Re: newby with camera connection problems
That looks really close. BI5 has identified it as a MDS2031 as you stated earlier, and it shows the expected main and sub-streams too. Does it actually add anything for the main and sub-streams in BI5 ? If not add them manually. My Foscam indoor PTZ looks like this: Screenshot 2024-03-18 165809.png ...
