There are limits with successive posts on the web browser.

Re: Can’t post so quick

It should not be rocket science to have the reply rate limited be linked to how long you have been a member.

I too have bailed out on replying to people because of rate limiting.

So the answer is that you did not use the preformatted template that is available in the general settings of the app?

Re: Blue Iris email support

Did you use the email template from your BI General Setting Screen that includes your support info (at least that was the preferred way a year or two ago).

Re: Camera works on manufactuers app, but not on BI ??

So it can't seem to log in. The result should be the same regardless of which camera brand you use. This is just a generic query to the camera.

You have login issues to the camera it seems.

Re: Camera works on manufactuers app, but not on BI ??

The first step would be to us the BI Camera settings page and do an "Inspect" after entering the camera url/user/pw.

See if it comes back with any results.

Re: NDAA Compliant Cameras

Cheap china cameras with a risk of Chinese Communist Party using them as cyber attack vectors (but we can try to isolate them).
vs
American trusted cameras that cost more.

Hmmm, the cheap Chinese cameras always seem to have a market. And I am guilty too.

Subscription is the way of the future for companies. They can't financially survive on one-time purchases.

Re: Discreet camera recommendation

Interestingly I heard that criminals are now brining wifi scramblers with them on thefts to thwart cameras and alarms that are wifi based.

Inbound connection requests are just part of being part of the jungle. I've become numb to them.
