Re: Linux

As I understand, it's a completely new OS written from the ground up. Developed by volunteers. I would say the chance of it getting to work 100% with Windows apps is unlikely.

Re: Linux

Just tested BI in in my VM ReactOS 0.4.12. The BI install just opens a blank 'Dialog' window. Have to 'End Process' in Task Manager to get rid of it.

Re: New user multi cam multi location

Teamviewer is a remote desktop software. I've been using it for years. Unfortunately, recently it has started to incorrectly report home users as commercial use, and limits/block the user from using it. I've switched to AnyDesk. But, it requires the remote computer to acknowledge and approve the con...

Re: BI Records Person, but not a Moving Broom...?

One possibility... With the 'broom out the window' test method (lol), the broom would most likely appear larger in the cameras view, than a person walking in the yard. Re: New user multi cam multi location

You'll need a licensed BlueIris for each location, and, at home. Contact BlueIris. Maybe they will give you a package deal.

Re: 2 NIC's for BI Server

And you can still view the cameras on the BI webserver? If that's all there is to it, I may give it a whirl. I just activated the BI webserver last night, but I've heard that there may be potential vulnerabilities in doing so. - Yes, Windows can see devices on both networks. Therefore, BI server ca...

Re: Web view on port 81 weird flashing

It won't effect remote viewing. Just when the BI server console is open.

I can't help much with BI v4. I updated to V5 when it came out.

If your using the Android app, there is a video setting for LAN and WAN. I lowered the setting for WAN - when I'm away from my home network.

Re: Multi-camera time line viewing through UI or App

I do believe this is by design.

In the UI3, you can select a group to list their alerts. But, when You play one, just that cameras alert plays.

Re: Force to a preset after starting BI

I haven't found a way to do that either. Would be a good option.

Send a suggestion to BI Support. Maybe they'll add it.
