Re: configuration please
At that price point, I'd be surprised if it worked at all yet alone had good resolution. In order to get PTZ to work you need to get the ONVIF user/pw that may or may not be the same as the user/pw you log into the camera with. I noticed this on one of my other cameras that they had a separate secti...

Re: Face and object recognition
I haven't explored it but there are definitely integrations with third party systems for smart detection. They basically work as second-level detection. You first use basic motion detection from BI that sends data to the third party system for second level analysis. Based on that second level analys...

Re: H265 issue
I'm not Tim but a recent minor release of BI5 noted a new library of some sort that the author stated "might help" with H265 acceleration.
That type of loose statement that it 'might' help is not too comforting to me.

Does your main settings status screen indicate you are eligible for an upgrade? Near where your license key is on the main settings tab.

Re: BI5 Crash with Intel NUC
You are really paying a premium for that small form factor. Both in price and performance. But I suppose it has its uses.

Re: H265 issue
Do you have "Hardware accelerated Decode" set to "No" on the camera's video settings?
