Re: Getting Cameras to Full Screen on WebUI

OMG. Here I am looking all over the settings... and its right out front. Yes, UI3. I didn't realize there was another web UI. Thanks for pointing out what should have been obvious... to everyone else but me it appears. I was way to far into the weeds.. -Bill

Getting Cameras to Full Screen on WebUI

We v4 Web UI I had been able to remove that panel with server status, PTZ and other information so I could view the cameras almost full screen. I seem to be able to move that panel from the left to the right, but I cannot see a way to hide it in the webs settings. Am I being blind? Since I don't hav...

Re: Is there an upgrade available to BI5 from BI4 ?

I pulled the trigger on the $29 Maintenance and performed the upgrade. Follow the directions carefully. Even after following them I had to put in my v4 key again. (was expecting to use the maint key) Its all working fine today. -Bill

Re: Record Dual Streams if Available setting

Unfortunately all my cameras are h264 based. Support is extremely slow, usually a week to get back to me. Started coming here, but maybe this isn't frequented by folks in the know either. -Bill

Record Dual Streams if Available setting

I use the continuous recording for all my cameras which makes fairly large files so I am thinking of unchecking this new setting to save disk space so I can keep files longer. I want to make sure I am not shooting myself in the foot doing that. Any ideas? I was using v4 for a pretty long time and I ...

Re: Is there an upgrade available to BI5 from BI4 ?

I am not quite sure what the difference is between the $29.95 extension versus the $35.95 one: If you have a clue could you please let me know? Thanks, Joe M. That's an interesting question. Maybe the $29 one auto renews? I purchased a brand new copy of v5 via Armcrest a few weeks back so I could m...

View cameras on a TV

I tried all the web dongles over the years to get my cameras on my TV's and found a very reliable way to see my camera(s) on the big screen. Its not thru Blueiris itself, and am waiting for their Android app to allow install easily on Android TV. Anyway, I have a 2017 Shield device. I use that to wa...

Re: Testing Clip moves from New to Stored to AUX1

Yes, its all setup as specified in the subject line, but I was thinking there would be a way to test the setup by moving test files thru it to make sure everything is setup correctly with permissions and network connections. I moved the timings down two one day each as I couldn't see a test method. ...

Re: anyone ever see a strange login in your log file?

This can't be true or the entire internet would be hacked all of the time. We wish, for the last 10 years of my IT career I managed/supported eCommerce systems for a large multinational with all their north and south American businesses. We got hacked almost daily. It was so bad we had to implement...

Re: anyone ever see a strange login in your log file?

I guess the real question is why would you put the BI server on the internet? Many years ago I put a very secure Linux box on my DMZ and within a few days someone broke into it and changed the root password. After that I realized its practically impossible to lock anything down that is internet faci...
