Re: Record while hidden
Use 'Groups'. On the cameras monitoring mousetraps... 1. Open camera settings. 2. On the General tab, Across from Groups, click 'Select'. If your not using groups already, this will be blank. 3. In the 'New Group' field, enter the group name you want to give these cameras, like 'Mousetraps'. Note: G...

Re: message errors
Looks like your NVENC issue is something entirely different... but probably related. Have you sent BI support the error message? The locked file is in the BI New folder (as you already know). I suppose you could pause BI, then delete all files in the NEW folder. The remaining file should be the one ...

Then, run 'Maintenance' (from same Database menu). Does this fix the errors? If not, check the BI l...

Re: How should I setup New, Stored, and Alert folders?
In the BI settings, 'Clips and archiving' tab, change to your dedicated hard drive for BI... Specify the database path. Basically just change the drive letter in the path. Do the same for the Folders that have paths. Please don;t use the main hard drive for BI database & folders. Windows is alre...

Re: How to stream Foscam
Oh, I understand now. Your trying to stream from BI's webserver. To stream directly from the camera... Here's the Foscam manual for MJPEG cameras, with the CGI commands. MJPEG IP Camera CGI v1.27.pdf.zip Use one of these commands to view the camera - if they are Mjpeg. I havn't used these in years. ...

Re: NEST Camera Support
We do seem to have an odd issue on this forum where somebody will claim they have one of these locked down devices working fantastically, but they never respond to our standard request to explain their settings. I've also noticed this. Has always bugged me. Could it possibly be trolling from... &qu...

Re: How to stream Foscam
Can you start a browser like IE? If you can, you may be able to use BI Webserver on those devices. Or, use the IE browser and log in to one camera. Most Foscam cameras have multi-camera, where you can view up to 8 other foscam cameras in a 3x3 grid. So, you only need log into one camera to view them...
