Re: Help setting up PTZ on Foscam R2
Update: With the help of this site (https://forum.athom.com/discussion/2530/foscam-ptz-preset-triggers) I was able to hack together commands to activate the camera presets. The syntax is: http://YOUR_IPCAM:PORT/cgi-bin/CGIProxy.fcgi?cmd=ptzGotoPresetPoint&name=PTZ_NAME&usr=Username&pwd=P...

Re: Help setting up PTZ on Foscam R2
Thanks. That solved part of the problem. 1. 443 is the secure (https) port. Changing it to 88 made a big difference. Now the camera moves when I click the up/down/left/right arrows. However, it doesn't move when I click the presets (1-10) or use the drop-down list of presets. The "Call" bu...

Re: Unique Push Notifications
Blue Iris allows you to send push notifications to some mobile users but not others, and (I believe) those filters can be different depending on what triggered them. Is this what you want? For example, from a given camera's Setting page, click on Alerts > On alert... > "+" > Push notificat...

Help setting up PTZ on Foscam R2
I can't get Blue Iris to move my Foscam R2 camera. I can move the camera around by talking to it directly via web browser, but not by using BI's on-screen controls. Neither the arrows nor the 1-9 presets do anything. The on-screen PTZ controls are illuminated and respond to mouse clicks; they just d...

Re: PTZ UI controls are grayed out and unresponsive
Fixed!
Blue Iris tech support suggested that I examine my user profile permissions at Settings/info > Users > [username] > Edit... > [x] PTZ/control
My user profile did not have the correct option enabled. Not something I ever would have thought to look for.

Re: PTZ UI controls are grayed out and unresponsive
Thanks. Mine looks the same, with one exception. My version (5.2.7.9) doesn't have the drop-down option for "PTZ + digital zoom" that yours has. Instead, there's just a check box. Apart from that, all the settings look the same. The PTZ controls appear at the bottom of the Blue Iris screen...

Re: Evaluation water mark now showing despite registered account
I managed to reverted back by clicking on the update button again followed by ticking the 'another previous update' box and i chose 5.2.7.9 which was available at the time. When I click the "another previous update" option, the only version it suggests is 5.2.7.11, which is newer , not ol...

PTZ UI controls are grayed out and unresponsive
I've got a Foscam R2 (among other cameras) which works fine except for the PTZ controls, which Blue Iris grays out. I can pan/tilt/zoom the camera by talking to it directly via web browser, but BI doesn't seem able to do the same trick. The PTZ controls appear below the video window, but they're all...
