Re: hardware Acceloration

To make it easier on the machine I was wondering if I can add a graphics card to offload the GPU work. if so what do you recommend for 10-12 IP cameras. Only Intel processor's that support Quick Sync and NVIDIA NVDEC GPU's will reduce CPU utilization by offloading cpu utilization to the graphics ca...

Re: Blue Iris failed to start (1069) Win10 version 2004

Assuming this error message is coming up after a Windows 10 Pro 64bit update to version 2004. I now get this error message when trying to launch BI. The only thing I can think of that might have happened is that I changed my login password for my computer to an actual password and not using the PIN...

Re: Blue Iris Update Manager

Hi reddawg, I'm trying to set this up but your script to install the task bombs out. It doesn't like my user name, say: Bill Smith. The space apparently splits it into two and uses only 'Smith'. Edited: That may not be the issue. Here's a screenshot of the error(s). Thanks, Mort Hi Mort, The proble...

Re: All Cameras No Signal after 5.2.9.7 update

I installed the latest update and all my cameras are now showing No signal. I went as far as totally uninstalling blue iris including registry and all data. I reinstalled blue iris again and started adding my cameras manually one by one. after I added the fourth camera I started getting no signal f...

Re: 5.2.8.1 update - Crashes BI

Has something to do with C:\WINDOWS\System32\ucrtbase.dll Interesting. The update for 5.2.8.3 resolved my problem with Blue Iris hanging when I tried to exit from the console. What did ucrtbase.dll have to do with the problem? I think the DLL you mentioned has something to do with Microsoft Visual ...

Re: 5.2.8.1 update - Crashes BI

I tried 5.2.8.2 update. Same thing. When I enable overlays in the console, BI crashes. I've tries repairing the database, and, starting with a new database. During playback, the options work fine. Re: How to ensure BI does not use NVIDIA Cuda

I have an issue where I have ensured that every camera is setup to use hardware accelerated decode to DEFAULT. and GPU Any. However my GPU usage is hitting 50%. I want to ensure that BI does not use hardware acceleration at all. Which option to choose to ensure that the GPU remains untouched? Go to...
