Re: Can't export videos anymore (from webinterface or from the Windows UI)

In the screen shot you are showing, it shows Alerts. I don't know if an Alert can be exported per se, as they can be linked to a snapshot image, depending on the settings. I always use the main UI3 window to export: right click, set start, set end, click Export, and it downloads the MP4 to my PC. Wo...

Re: Time Display

BI will only overlay the time / date stamp in BI. If you are using another software to live stream to YT, BI is out of the equation.

Re: Can't export videos anymore (from webinterface or from the Windows UI)

Which BI version?
Maybe the DB needs rebuilding?

Re: 5.9.9.14 FPS drop

Well, contrary to "don't fix it if it is not broken", I updated to the latest stable, 5.9.9.23. I have 15 cameras that have been running for months on 5.9.9.11, but had slowdowns on 5.9.9.14. The FPS dropped to 1-3 FPS on four of my 4k cameras that send 1080p substreams. The total network ...

Re: BI Computer Purchase

Hello, I hope you get back to full power soon! IMHO, something like this PC on eBay: https://www.ebay.com/itm/365368471382?_skw=i7+8700&itmmeta=01JK4PH2CVG8W1RACVEPEWEWJC&hash=item5511a86f56:g:erMAAOSwG9xnmWAR&itmprp=enc%3AAQAJAAAA4HoV3kP08IDx%2BKZ9MfhVJKlcCs53oN7igyGYluUZqNZDSZwy7JqcMfn...

Re: e-mail Alerts lost when internet is down

One simple answer for people who are a little technically savy is spin up a HyperV VM (you can do that in Windows 10/11 pro) and install linux (e.g. Ubuntu) and postfix. Postfix is a store-and-forward email server, just have it do exactly that with no real processing. It will hold email alerts and ...

What happens if you change the Action field from Trigger to Confirmed Alert?

Re: ONVIF events not coming through as alert despite apparent match

I can get it to fire one some motion event (I just checked them all), but it's firing too quickly and what's passed to AI is before there's a human in view, so not confirming. The doorbell camera seems quite good at determining it's a human, but I can't figure out how to get that to be recognized b...

Re: Best way to setup my recording...?

True, if the OP sets up the substream to 5 fps and the main stream to 30 fps, then using continuous + triggered will do what the OP wants.

Re: Best way to setup my recording...?

I've been using blue iris for a few years now, but I never really got it setup the way I want it. I recently build a new NVR and did a fresh install. My goal is to have all my cameras record at 5fps 24/7, and bump up to 30fps when motion is detected. Is this possible? I don't think this can be done...
