Looks a message from the BI UI when the service is stopped to perform the update.
That's exactly what is it. There's some race condition going on with the updates; every once in a while it stumbles and this happens.

Re: Minor Bug Report

I caught it and got a screen shot...definitely a BI error. The larger dialog box appears and then the smaller one appears. Re: BI5 License Key

Hmmm, this sounds like it might be worth a letter to support; I don't know if this is something that's solvable here.

I am also losing all Alerts each time I upgrade  I think the files are still there, but they disappear from the dates within Blue Iris so I'm unable to easily review footage. Will email support. It might be worth doing a database rebuild to see if that re-indexes them or straightens them out.

Re: New user looking for resources

A Linux product can't be that much more work?? In any case, I do wish BI would offer a Linux solution. It would just make it that much better!! Thanks for your post, and be well. It probably would be quite a bit of work, to be fair. Although, with that said, I'd happily pay full price for BI again ...

But good question, where do the BI developers hang out to discuss all things BI? IPCamTalk, Reddit, Discord, YouTube comments, here???
There's only one developer as far as I know.

Re: RTSP: 405 Method Not Allowed

Could you share the correct ONVIF string so other people with a similar issue can find it? Thank you!

Managed to get it work by doing lots of reading on lots of BLOGS, basically needed to get the ONVIF string correct.
