Re: Windows 11 requirements - Bit of a shock !
I just updated my laptop to W11, really out of curiosity. It was TPM compliant but wasn’t processor compliant so was expecting the install to stall. Downloaded W11 from MS using their media creation tool to put the install into a USB stick. Had a spare 500gb SSD so swapped out the exiting SSD and th...

Re: memory leak 5.5.1.18
For those that use deepstack there is a fix in 5.5.2.0 where the deep stacks process is a child process of BI so if BI is stopped or crashes then when BI stops it should also stop any child processes. Apart from one version from 5.5.1.x I didn’t really see any issues with memory leaks but then again...

Re: How do you use your PTZ?
Don’t have a PTZ as I’m too poor [emoji3] but you could try using it in combination with fixed cams to act like spotter cams? By this I mean, you have 2 cams up front on the left and right, the left cam triggers so you then get BI to send the required codes to the PTZ to move it to the area that the...

Re: Alert when Motion Detected in Zone B and person in frame?
From just a motion point of view what you have set should work according to the BI manual, no idea about AI as I don’t personally use it.
I’d report this to support to see what they say.

Re: memory leak 5.5.1.18
Have you down the normal things like making sure your fps and iframe settings match, trying h264 if the cams are set to h265, disabling hardware acceleration if you have it enabled or even trying a different variant? I used to use intel Beta but have recently changed to intel VPP as the beta was cau...

Re: So really, what's the sense of using BI
Nope, it like taking your car to a local car show and asking them what is making the noise and not be willing to learn how a car works. Mechanics are paid to fix cars. Are you saying that my criticism is unfair? Or just that the analogy was a poor choice...? I think the analogy is not quite there a...

What are the stream settings in the actual cams themselves, things like encoder, fps, iframe etc.
