Re: Login prompt when BI starts, username/password not accepted

Answer from BlueIris support is to log in with default user:

local_console
(no password)

You can disable the login prompt on Settings/Startup by selecting to always use admin.

Re: Login prompt when BI starts, username/password not accepted

I have to use MS account.

But now I made a restore point and deleted BlueIris. Then deleted all registry entries and leftover files.

Installed BlueIris. And again I'm asked to login....
It's not listed in services.msc.

Re: Login prompt when BI starts, username/password not accepted

Why would changing the password lose all your config? Sorry, I meant to say without uninstalling Blueiris and install it again from scratch. If you type services.msc from the Run command you check the Blueiris service to see what creds it’s using. Thanks. It runs under my local account (username). ...

Appears that a solution was posted here in the form of an image.

(I found that the MS account only remembers the last 5 passwords so I changed it to something without special characters, but that did nor change anything)

Re: Login prompt when BI starts, username/password not accepted

Many thanks. Yes, I do have a special character in my MS account password, but would rather not change it since I will not be allowed to set it back to the same again after having solved the BI login problem. Also when you set BI to run as a service did you use the same username/password that you us...

Login prompt when BI starts, username/password not accepted

I changed to run as a service, entered the Windows password. When restarting BI I'm asked for the credentials, but it's not accepted. I'm and administrator and I'm sure I use the correct password. B3.png Have tried with both my windows username and LocalSystem. And both BlueIrisAdmin.exe and BlueIri...

Re: Triggering is very unreliable

When the Onvif command is sent by the camera, the xml will change and show the command. After a few seconds it will refresh and show the default info. As I said, it took me some time. You need an able assistant to trigger the camera, and you stop the xml refreshing when it updates. Got an assistant...

Not sure what you mean by this. The XML output is just repeating itself with the same code and I cannot find any data there to configure the Event.

Re: Triggering is very unreliable

Many thanks. I'm not using CodeProject AI. Have tried to follow the help-document. Assume the problem is how to set up the ONVIF events. The XML display always shows this code: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <SOAP-ENV:Envelope xmlns:hikxsd="http://www.onvifext.com/on...
