restart after auto update

I am not sure why but probably about 2 times a week when blue iris does it's daily check and update (I have set for 7:00am) for all major and minor updates blue iris does not automatically restart or even check for an actual update. It just shuts down at 7:00am it seems. I am going to have to shut t...

Re: FOSCAM G4

Ok point taken about not mentioning this camera has the dongle like a lot of these do for the power supply and ethernet connection. So I'm sure the problem is NOT BI it's either this Foscam G4 camera or just my lack of knowledge on video and all the things that go with it like bit rate and frame rat...

Re: FOSCAM G4

Ok so this morning I was able to set the main HA to Intel and then restarted all of the cameras. As I restarted them I monitored the CPU usage both as I see it in task manager and the bottom bar in BI. A few months ago I set all of my cameras to use sub streams and when I did that, that is when I no...

Re: FOSCAM G4

Per the suggestion I turned on ONVIF on/in the Foscam G4 and then went back into BI and did the find/inspect and a ton of stuff came up during that process and it changed the Make to Generic/ONVIF and the model to RTSP etc..... Thats fine with me and it does display but still getting the choppy fram...

Re: FOSCAM G4

I have not tried to just put the IP address in there and do the find inspect but I am willing for sure to give that a try. When I set this Foscam G4 up I just looked at how I ultimately got another Foscam I have up and running and working so I used that one as an example. I'm not really sure what th...

Re: FOSCAM G4

Yeah I don't think this has anything to do with my processor or video card not being fast/good enough to handle what I am throwing at it. So this is the machine I am running BI on and the graphics card that is installed in it.

Re: FOSCAM G4

The G4 looks like it streams on VLC nice it does not appear choppy dropping frames like it does when looking at it through BI. I am not sure about the hardware acceleration because I am using sub streams and I read earlier as much as I could to try to solve this that: "If you're using sub strea...

Re: FOSCAM G4

Thanks for getting back to me. BI shows the FPS kind of all over the place. On my picture it is the My Camera 4 (Cam4) and you can see when I did the screen shot there it was around 14/.6 I have dropped the frame rate to 20 and got the key frame interval on the cam set to 20 which I think should giv...
