Re: Audio channel keeps disabling at random
This 'Audio Watchdog' seems like a totally useless function whether the camera provides audio or doesn't provide audio..., or sometimes does and sometimes doesn't..., and we seem to have gotten along quite nicely without it until now. Let me guess; it's yet another feature to somehow compliment AI w...

Re: Push Notification not working.
Try triggering the alert push action from a live camera motion trigger rather than using the 'test' function.
This is necessary when testing Pushover alerts these days and may also somehow apply to this situation with later BI releases.

Re: Config/resource goof.
Good luck with the A/C. Had to fire ours up yesterday for the first time this season too. Fortunately it did! So..., the erratic display you're experiencing is not likely related directly to your BI server itself. That said, other unrelated functions and tasks running on the same box could indeed be...

Re: Config/resource goof.
Disabling QuickSync HA to eliminate "the possible problems'' would generally indicate problems elsewhere already, not with Intel UHD Graphics..., sub streams or no sub streams. As @TimG states with sub streams enabled I’ve done away with hardware acceleration and the possible problems that havi...

Re: Strange Computer Ringing Sound at Sunset Time
Our friend is typically much more persistent with his threads. The lack of response here is a bit concerning.
Let's hope everything is ok with him.

Re: Config/resource goof.
There's nothing broken to fix and you hardly need an add-on graphics card. That 8th Gen i7 has a UHD 630 GPU built right onto the physical architecture of the processor footprint and is considered one of the sweetest of the Intel CPU/GPUs by many accounts. You just need to ensure QuickSync hardware ...

Re: Outdoor POE Cameras (UK)
The Reolink cameras are a nice mid-priced product primarily designed with their NVRs in mind as the POE switch/recorder, etc. They integrate well together, but with limitations compared to the flexibility/capabilities of Blue Iris as the central controller/recorder. That said, the Reolinks have been...

Re: Outdoor POE Cameras (UK)
Amcrest may be another option but they're basically a domestic (US) version of Dahua hardware with less soft features for a more economical price point. Still good cameras but may not be an option in the UK.
You won't go wrong with Dahua if the budget allows.

A bit more detail would certainly be helpful in attempting to assist.
