I am using 14 cameras with BI and I am recording directly to a NAS ( much to the dismay of the IPCAM folks). I was using an i7 3770k with 16 gb of ram pc for my BI machine and all worked well. Just upgraded to an i5 12600k with 32 gb of ram. Not because of BI, but I use the pc for video and photo ed...

For all of you wondering, I have solved the problem. It was necessary to completely uninstall and reinstall and reactivate Blue Iris, as the cloning mucked things up. As far as the Zero Tier setup....It was set up properly and so were my devices. Seems my pc networks basically became corrupted in so...

I actually use Macrium Reflect to clone. It is a carbon copy of the drive. I use this for backing up. Take the cloned drive and stick it in the safe. Never liked doing a "backup" as I would have to rely on the specific backup program to regenerate the files. e.g. rather than have a backup ...
