Re: Blue Iris can't handle Reolink E1 Pro RTSP

I have a few POS Reolink cameras. When they die (and they will,) I'll never buy another one. After all that.... I do have an E1 Pro, 2 RLC-811A's and they work OK... Not great... Just ok. PITA to get configured in Blue Iris. Reolink has told me that their camera's are NOT professional cameras. They ...

Mobile App - Fails to Update

My ISP frequently changed my Blue Iris servers IP (once a day is common.) Not a biggie for me, but my Android app does not like it. I have to manually stop the logon and select EDIT to force an update of the "GET IPS" to get my IP address to update. So... Is this normal? Or what can I do t...

Re: Blue Iris Killing LAN Bandwidth

I've had nothing but trouble with 5.5. Try downgrading to 5.4.9.18 and see if you have the same issues. Won't hurt and easy test. Also, not knowing your BI settings, it could be a configuration issue OR a camera issue, You could also disable motion detection on each camera and test your network. Mos...

Re: Blue Iris Cancelling Motion

I agree with others.. Blue Iris is not canceling your alerts. Deepstack is the issue. Set your Deepstack "min confidence" to around 40%. The lower the percentage, the less chance of Deepstack tossing out a valid alerts. For me, most of the valid alerts Deepstack misses are night alerts. My...

Re: Strange issue with intermittent low frame rate and high data usage

Downgrade Blue Iris to 5.4.9.18 and use the early 2021 Deepstack. I had issues with 5.5 dropping frames, high CPU and memory leaks. Going back to 5.4.9.18 fixes all thse issues. Blie Iris keeps telling my I'm the only one with this issue. I cut and pasted others posting the same issue and got no res...

Re: Gmail rejects alert

If you only use the email address for BI... You can lower the security settings on the account too. But the app password is probably the best route. I ran into this a few months ago and just lowered the security on the email account as its only used for BI alerts.

Re: DeepStack Isuses and Alert Scaling After 5.5.1.20 Upgrade

5.5 has been nothing but trouble for me. Tried many versions and all had issues. I did report them, but they could not fix it. Running 5.4.9.18 and using the early 2021 Deepstack. Life is good now...... but looks like I'm going to stay with 5.4. 5.5 and Sept Deepstack release............ Nothing but...

Re: What made you choose BI over alternatives

IMO............ BI handles alerts better than other software. But does just OK on detection. That's why I use it. But it's ability to detect... kinda suxs. Deepstack does help, but frequently when BI misses an event, my camera catches via IVS software. IVS just seems years ahead of detection over BI...
