If you only use the email address for BI... You can lower the security settings on the account too. But the app password is probably the best route. I ran into this a few months ago and just lowered the security on the email account as its only used for BI alerts.

IMO............ BI handles alerts better than other software. But does just OK on detection. That's why I use it. But it's ability to detect... kinda suxs. Deepstack does help, but frequently when BI misses an event, my camera catches via IVS software. IVS just seems years ahead of detection over BI...
