Reolink 820a setting help

On the General tab (page 1) I see that there is a main and sub stream and I have heard that the second number after the / should be above .5 and I am seeing that in the main stream it is .5 and in the sub stream it is .25 so I am not sure I am setting my cameras up. Under the Network IP I have set t...

Re: No Triggers at Night

A ring of red Leds around the lens does sound like IR Leds, and they would look dim to the naked eye. Have a check with a mobile phone later and you will know for sure. You shouldn't have a grainy image with IR on, so it's worth checking all is well. The IR is of course just like a torch beam in th...

Re: No Triggers at Night

Unfortunately I have some 820s. I seem to have them working now. I have a day schedule and a night schedule. The night schedule has the trigger contrast set to the minimum ie 12. Daytime is higher so I don't get every shadow movement. I then use AI. Going to watch this video as i think it might ans...

Re: No Triggers at Night

My Dahua cams can see the IR leds from other cameras like a torch beam at night. They give a really clear black and white picture in night mode. One of the simplest ways to check if the IR Leds are on is to look at the camera (at night !) through a mobile phone camera. It will be very obvious. Same...

Re: No Triggers at Night

I can see the movement on the screen. A bit grainy but that could just be me not having my cameras setup right

No Triggers at Night

Greetings folks, I have reolink 820a's and I have some triggers set up and when it is light out they work fine, but at night I don't get any triggers for things I would expect to be triggers. I was in my front yard with my puppies at about 11pm last night, and I would have expected that to trigger a...

Re: Internal Hard Drive

The 2tb limit should be only for old 32b machines. While SSD for the system drive increases performance ALOT, there is less of an improvement for video recording and playback. I haven't done the math but you might be able to poll people here who are using HDDs on what they get away with. I have 5 @...

Internal Hard Drive

Greetings all, I have a Dell 9020 Mini Tower with a 1 TB SSD Drive and I am running BI 5. I was thinking about adding an additional Internal Hard Drive and wanted to see if a 2TB spinning at 5400 RPM was fast enough for me to store all of my Blue Iris Video to include, new, alerts and stored. I am n...
