Re: Direct image request of a recorded stream

I'm sorry but my licence is expired. I would be very grateful though if someone could confirm that the request example I wrote works. I was thinking the release of the executable (5.5.4.5) I'm using may not support this yet.

Direct image request of a recorded stream

To retrieve a snapshot of a certain camera from the BI web server interface (See 'Direct image and video requests' in the Blue Iris manual) the following request can be used: {server IP-address}:{server port}/image/{cam-short-name}, like 192.168.1.30:81/image/Cam1 This works fine. Now, to get an ima...

Re: Transfer to a new computer

Copied BlueIris.exe from my old to my new PC and that's it! At first I tried to do it the clean way by making a backup of the current executable that I would use as another previous update (both by means of the News and Updates window), but that didn't succeed because of an error message ('Encounter...

Re: Transfer to a new computer

Aha, now it becomes clear to me that you have to back up those previous versions yourself. I'm going to try that tomorrow. Thanks!

Re: Transfer to a new computer

Today I transfered BI to a new computer. After installing V5 and importing the exported settings it needed to restart. It did shut off but did not restart (as happened to sprucebi too). After another restart or two my camera's appeared as yet. After entering the license key I still have the Blue Iri...

Re: Recording issue since version 5.4.6.4

With version 5.4.7.6, released today, it appears to be solved.

Recording issue since version 5.4.6.4

Since the automatic update from version 5.4.5.3 to 5.4.6.4 this morning, now this evening I see camera's ignoring the break time. A camera with a spider web in front of it is constantly recording one or a few seconds by every movement of a piece of spider silk. Today recordings (another profile) hav...

Re: Unexpected behaviour cut video

After a night with recordings just doing as told, also for the Active profile I decreased the clip duration limit to 5,5 hours, because otherwise triggered recordings after 5:30 but before 8:00 AM are appended to continous night recordings, probably because the default time limit of 8 hours for prof...

Unexpected behaviour cut video

I've setup a few camera's to record continous from 0:00 to 05:30. To prevent these recordings from absorbing a large part of the available drive space, I fastforward the clips and if nothing strange appears, just delete them. To just throw away the nightly recordings and leave the possibly combined ...
