Re: IR lights do not switch automatically any more

IIRC, if you long-press the light bulb icon in the BI desktop app, it sets the light to Auto.

Re: Conserving Bandwidth

There is at least one way to do this, and maybe more, that I found. I verified that this method stops the RTSP stream from the camera using Wireshark. Under the individual camera's settings, go to the "Schedule" tab. Check "Override global schedule for this camera". Do NOT check ...

Re: How do I select multiple days of alerts?

Re: Cameras Not Recording Primary High Quality Stream

If you choose a recording type other than "Continuous+Triggered" or "Continuous+Alerts" the "Record dual-streams if available" option becomes active and if you uncheck it, it results in the behavior you describe - the sub stream is available in Live View and is used for...

Re: Camera Triggered Even When Motion Sensor Disabled

Double check that, if you're using schedules, that they are changing the active profile when you think they are, and that motion detection is turned off in all the profiles where you want it off. In your screenshot, it's off in the Home profile. Are you sure Home is the active profile when you're se...

Re: Clips and archiving settings

In your example, it'll move clips from New to Stored when the clip is older than 7 days, or when the space occupied by all clips in New is 10GB. So my guess is your clips in New are exceeding 10GB before they are getting to the 7 day mark. The current documentation says (page 108): "Each folder...

Re: Save snippet of clips via command line

The manual suggests you can do this. Page 133 in the current manual as of today, under the Alerts and Actions chapter, Email section. There's a checkbox on an email alert called " Attach an MP4 with duration (secs)" and then an input box to specify the seconds.
