Have you successfully configured your Foscam using Find/Inspect?
Do you other Foscam cameras of the same model working in BI, or is this the only one?
Also, what version of BI are you on now?

Re: Cameras displaying image when offline or disconnected
So many things...
- Version of BI
- Camera make model
- Are the cameras wired or wireless?
- How many cameras?
A screen shot of your BI Status Cameras page would answer these and more questions.

Re: Whitelist ip without blocking everyone other ip?
I don't see how you can link one I address to a user. This HAS ti be a request from an exec... just can't be bothered by all this messy password stuff! I has this request when I was working. My answer was.... a polite 'no, passwords are for a reason'. Set a simple password. Something easy to remembe...

Re: Whitelist ip without blocking everyone other ip?
Is this an internal or external ip address?
This wouldn't happen to be for an executive/owner of a company?

Re: Whitelist ip without blocking everyone other ip?
Not recommended. But...
Add a User to BI without a password.
Uncheck Admin and most other options. You don;t want just anyone being able to log into BI and change settings, move cameras around...
You may want to make a special camera group and assign that to the user.

Re: Reset PTZ brightness setting back to default/unspecified
Got it! Here's how to reset a cameras Brightness & Contrast back to unspecified. I've tested this, and it works. 1. Export your Camera settings. Just-in-case. 2. Shutdown BI. This will not work is BI and/or BI Server is running. 3. Copy the lines below to a file 'Reset Camera Brightness and Cont...

Re: Reset PTZ brightness setting back to default/unspecified
I'm not understanding, which is probably why I didn't respond back in 2019. BI Brightness 15 is just a setting it sends to the camera. There is no value, other than '15'. I don't understand why it should be deleted. ahh, the Op wanted to know how to set this back to unspecified. When a camera is add...
