Re: Audio missing in web UI3?

I verified that all my cameras have "Webcast audio" checked in their audio tab settings. I tried restarting the browser, clearing the cache, restarting BIS, and finally running a different browser (I was running Chrome, then tried FF). All this is on a Mac. I checked "About this UI3&q...

Audio missing in web UI3?

I am certain this is controlled by a setting I can not find, but I have searched the doc and the UI w/o any luck. I am running BI 5.4.9.1 (6/26/2021). I have one camera that includes audio, and have set two other cameras to use that camera's audio (as they are physically adjacent). In the BI Windows...

Re: Struggling with Deepstack AI alerts

Well, I might have found out how to work around this problem. I happened to add a new Nest camera, and noticed it had Deepstack alerts working on it! This prompted me to delete all my existing cameras and re-create them from scratch. Lo and behold, Deepstack now works. Something to try for anyone wh...

Re: Struggling with Deepstack AI alerts

Thanks for these troubleshooting suggestions. I did try using the real IP instead of 127.0.0.1 (as well as completely disabling the Windows firewall) with no different results. BI is definitely talking to DeepStack, because I can see in the BI log these lines: App - DeepStack has been started App - ...

Re: Struggling with Deepstack AI alerts

Thank you for your reply! I've tried a number of things with no success: As you suggested, tweaked the AI min confidence lower, and unchecked "Hide cancelled alerts" with no change. I am DEFINITELY getting motion detected by BI, it logs a MOTION event for the camera and adds a clip to my a...

Struggling with Deepstack AI alerts

I am having problems getting the Deepstack integration to work in BI. I am running release 5.4.5.0 (came out today). Deepstack is installed, and BI is set to auto-launch it. When I launch a browser to http://127.0.0.1:82/ it tells me it's activated. BI shows the Stop Now button in the AI config dial...

Re: Sub Streams and continuous recording

Well, I tried it and it looks like that setting does exactly what was requested. I chose to use the sub-stream, output MP4, turned off re-encode video, made sure resize video was turned OFF. The result is I get 640x480 MP4's at least 15X smaller than the equivalent bvr files. And as far as I could t...

Re: Sub Streams and continuous recording

It's quite a coincidence, I came to the forum to ask this very question and find it is at the top of the list! Talk about serendipity! I'd like this feature as well. I have 8K cameras and recording a combined main/sub stream using h265 can eat over 2GB per hour. Multiply that by a bunch of cameras a...

Re: LAN Only option for users does not seem to work

Duh, I had searched for a solution previously with no luck, but the wording of my post prompted me to do more searches including X-Forwarded-For and I found the solution to my problem: https://github.com/elad-bar/ha-blueiris/issues/23

LAN Only option for users does not seem to work

I have Blue Iris set up behind a reverse proxy in my network. Some users, like the anonymous user, I only want to be able to authenticate to Blue Iris when they are on my private LAN, but not when they are accessing BI from the internet through my reverse proxy. This seems exactly like what the &quo...
