Re: Blue Iris is using your microphone

So, now that you've fixed that problem, what do you know about keeping that cam from showing up on the cycle? :) Right now I have that cam disabled and hidden, and I have "hide disabled cameras" selected so that cam never shows up anywhere, except for when I cycle through the cams. It doe...

Re: Blue Iris is using your microphone

Okay, I have the same usb camera and did some "guess and check". I had the same problem as you until I changed the webcam audio settings. When I chose IP Camera Stream instead of Direct Show Device, problem solved. No live feedback from the webcam, and BI is using your microphone went awa...

Re: Blue Iris is using your microphone

The link worked fine. FWIW, I use the add attachments tab at the bottom of the section where you compose your reply. Attach, then place inline. I hadn't registered that you already posted that the Audio Capture was not enabled in global settings. Sorry. Based on what you said, more detail would be ...

Blue Iris is using your microphone

Blue Iris 5 installed on Windows 10 box. Just recently noticed the microphone icon in the systray. When hovered over it says "Blue Iris is using your microphone". I have three cameras, two bullet type cameras, one on each corner of house with no audio and one doorbell cam with audio. Liste...

Re: Frame Advance (Step Forward)

I also just figured out (by accident...LOL) that you can also frame advance with your mouse wheel if you are hovered over the play/pause speed control area.

Re: Frame Advance (Step Forward)

1. In BI settings, go to 'Keyboard shortcuts' tab. 2. Click 'Add' 3. Select Function 'Step Forward'. 4. Click 'Set to next command typed', then press the key or key combination to assign the function. Do the same for the 'Step Backward' function. I've assigned the 'gamer' type keys for playback - a...

Re: VistaCam 1200 Doorbell Camera - Help

Hello all, I bought a Vera VistaCam 1200 doorbell camera since I use a Vera controller and have lots of home automation hooked into it. It looks just like Ezviz DB1 and probably is Vera branded version of it. It is supposed to support RTSP but I can't get it connected to Blue Iris. I can't connect ...

Frame Advance (Step Forward)

Hello all, in Blue Iris 4 there was a button labeled "step forward" one could use while playing back video that would advance one frame at a time. I can't find any way to do that with Blue Iris 5. Does anyone know if this is still a feature and/or how to do it? Thanks!
