Blue Iris feeds on Apple TV

I've found the IP Cam Soft Pro app https://apps.apple.com/us/app/ip-cam-soft-pro/id518516052 on an iOS device and an Apple TV a good combination for getting live feeds on your Apple TV. I found setting up the cameras in the iOS app much easier and the app has a great feature to send all your cameras...

I have gmail setup with the heightened security and just created an app password for Blue Iris Go to gmail.com Click your profile avatar in the upper right corner Choose Manage Your Google Acco...

Re: 'Intel' Acceleration Working, 'New Intel' Not Working

No I'm not aware of an Intel add-on card, however some builtin Intel video isn't capable like the early i7 motherboards what processor do you have? I think the 3rd gen and beyond are generally supported. I'm running 10 2mp cameras, and 1 8mp camera at 15FPS on an i7-7700 at around 9-12% cpu all but ...

Re: Intel Hardware accelerated

Blue iris should keep its files to the space or number of days you have set. However if you store other things on the drive they can cause over allocation issues so its best to have a drive dedicated to Blue Iris and leave at least 10GB unallocated.

Re: 'Intel' Acceleration Working, 'New Intel' Not Working

If you use a compatible intel video card you should see the cpu usage go down when you turn on the intel mode and direct to disk recording

Re: Where is Priority Support and Maintenance???

The Blue Iris software is great especially paired with SmartSentry.ai however I don't have any experience with their priority support. I know it's a very small operation with the developer and at least one other person and regular support takes a while. You should be able to get a good feel for its ...

Re: Fresh BI5 installation on Win10 SSD+Storage

Hi Terk, I thought OpenVpn with an Asus router covered my remote access security - it has prevented access attempts from other countries too ( Look in your connection logs people). What can Stunnel do for me ? And can you explain how to set it up ? Tim OpenVPN does cover the remote access security ...

Re: Upgrading v4 to v5

I held off upgrading to v5 hoping they would address some of the known issues in the upgrade process but then realized the issues where on the v4 side and they weren't upgrading that anymore so they were not likely to ever fix the issue of v4 deleting all settings and registration even when you told...

Re: Graphics card for monitor display?

Intel Quick Sync supposedly does just as good or close to as the nVidia GPU offloading. Are you using the Intel hardware acceleration in BI now?
