Re: Bad Switch?

I'm using Ubiquiti products personally and overall I'd have to say I'm pretty happy with the hardware. Especially if you want to explore getting into some fun, more advanced networking concepts - without being a CLI guru (it's 99.5% all GUI based), I'd generally recommend them. Some of the hardware ...

Re: Ever heard of "IVC" cameras?

What truck? I don't see a truck...

And yeah I think the camera is overpriced because it says "industrial" and it's shiny stainless steel. I'm sure some corporations buy it because it's listed on some site they're supposed to reference. Blah blah blah

Re: Bad Switch?

ping 10.0.0.2 -t It will run continuous until you stop it. All day if you want it to. When you stop it you should still see ping statistics.... in this setup you should see zero/0/nil/no Loss and the time should be very low (it's ok if it's occasionally NOT <1 ms). The results are another piece to t...

Re: WGMG - Stupid Reviews of products...

Yeah seriously. I think sometimes people get "credit" or points for a response even though it's useless.

Why take the time to say, "I don't know"...... thanks, thats helpful.

Re: Android client(s) all stopped working

If you have the time, tomorrow's Webinar is specifically about connecting Mobile Apps. The root of the issue *may* be down to design implementation vs something broken in BI. Both Apple and Google have been making changes to app policies and a method that worked previously may go against their polic...

Re: Confusion about access to updates to V5

Good question, I do not know the answer to that one. The same could be asked I guess in the event you renewed early... if renewing a month early would you effectively only be extending for 11 months. I'm not sure.

Re: UI3 Alerts list broken since v5.4.3.11

Strange, unfortunately I don't have an answer on that one. Are you accessing UI3 from the remote location? I assume so based on what you're saying. How are you connecting? Are you just port forwarding through a router, VPN, any sort of WAF in place? Using Dynamic DNS? Those errors don't mean a whole...

Re: Swann 4K Thermal Sensing Spotlight Bullet IP Security Camera - NHD-887MSFB

So I don't have any direct experience with these but I did review the link and did some additional research. The first thing that jumps out at me is the pretty poor reviews of the camera on the Swann site. I will acknowledge that most of those reviews are around the AI and detection capabilities wit...

Re: Confusion about access to updates to V5

Yeah I went with the auto-renewal because I don't foresee me going anywhere else BUT I made very well sure to bookmark that site and confirm my login in the event I ever do need/want to cancel.
