Re: Remote viewing help

+1 You may be limited to the capabilities available in your routers firmware but, if possible it would be best to set up a static port forward rule in your router to point to BI server (which should be a static/reserved IP anyway)

Re: CPU overload

With the cpu % reductions that you now have, I think you should leave it as it is and back up all of the settings immediately :o My D1 sub stream is set at 512 Kb/S, but it is VBR rather than CBR. In my previous post, you can see that it was actually running at 64.4 Kb/S. Can anybody tell us the te...

Re: Sub Streams

Still seems odd, it *shouldn't* go up. The info IAmATeaf requested might help, specifically the Blue Iris Status > Cameras. I too have multiple Amcrest cameras, though not 1080p or wifi, but still.

Have you all reported this to support ?

Looks like I won't be updating BI5 this week.
+1 Glad I actually looked at the forum before doing my routine check for an updated version

Re: hardware Acceloration

Wow um something is definitely not right. I'd expect stats to trend the other way. Can you show your Camera Stats page and maybe the configuration of streams on one of your cameras?

Re: Bitdefender hates cam4!

Yeah to build on what Tim said, maybe exclude the BI directory from BitDefender. I know ideally you do want EVERYTHING protected but if it's causing issues, you have to weigh availability with confidentiality. Perhaps you could reduce that to just the BI executable which wouldn't be bad at all. Thou...

Re: Sub streams and H265

Thats an odd one - I have no idea. Of course I'd like to figure out why but ultimately in the long run I backed my cameras down from H.265 (H.265+ even!) to H.264 for the quality of the stream. Since it's all local wired network I'm not worried about network loads so I don't need the added compressi...

Re: BI Label on PC Screen

I could be wrong but to ME that looks like one of those glitchy windows things where like you right clicked once and a context menu comes up but in wrong spot or won't go away. Generally for me it shouldn't survive a reboot or sometimes you can "jiggle" things just right to get it to go away. Does t...

Re: Mobile Client Upgrade

I was a little bummed (as an Android user) however reading the Update notes is proving a little encouraging.... 5.3.2 - August 24, 2020 Changes and preparations are underway for the new major iOS app release. Status/Storage has been revised to more closely align with what you will see in UI3 and in ...
