Re: Camera Zooming in and out

Did this start after a recent update?
Have you tried going back to a prior version?
Does the camera itself have a zoom function, if so could it be malfunctioning?

Re: Clip: Disk can't keep up

Have you update the BI software recently?
What version of BI are you currently running!
If you have updated recently then as a test go back to one of the stable versions and see if the problem goes away.

Re: Run as a windows service makes PC unresponsive?

it is possible that it could be a bad memory module etc. Have you done any stress tests on the computer to rule out this possibility!

Re: Storage Colors Legend (what is gold?)

I don't have any other ideas on what it might be, I would think that a recovery portion would show up in disk management. Hopefully someone else might have some ideas.

Re: Storage Colors Legend (what is gold?)

Did you look in Disk Management on your computer to see what it might represent, I checked my system and it does not show any partitions with the "gold" color. Possibly a recovery partition, as my computer was custom built by myself it does not have a recovery partition.

Re: Storage Colors Legend (what is gold?)

Not sure what the gold color is but a 10TB hard drive will only have a formatted capacity of 9.09TB, not sure how it would be possible to have more than that available

You could take a look at this for some explanation of the facts!

Re: Statis object detection

I am no expert, but why do you have static selected, it is my understanding that is to identify static object (ie not moving), is it not the movement of the trees that is the issue. What exactly are you trying to alert on from that camera, do you really need to detect the non moving car?

Re: Video Clips Not Connected to Alerts Database

Did you make any changes to the camera name, that will mess things up for sure.

I did something similar a few years back and got it to work, but I currently don't have access to my BI system as I am away from the machine, to try and figure out the exact steps that I did.

Re: Issue with installing BlueIris 5

Have you checked that all of the old folders from BI 4 are removed, not sure if this will be an issue or not.
