Re: Do I Need a New Licence To Access A Remote Install?

Could you use remote access software such as Teamviewer or Splashtop to view the complete BI5 pc remotely ?

Re: Transferring to a new PC

I have two BI5 licences, and recently swapped the licence with the valid support plan from the BI5 test pc to the main BI5 pc and turned the "test" BI5 off. You can move BI5 licences between pc's as long as you don't run two pc's with the same licence.

Re: motion fails to record all movement

If those cameras ARE sending Onvif triggers, then you can set BI5 to use them too. BI5's power can also be it's own worst enemy due to the sheer number of adjustments that you can make that can also stop it detecting motion. I call it the Swiss Army knife of CCTV software as it will work with so man...

Re: Using older FLIR PTZ camera?

Hi, your best bet if nobody answers here is to send a message to support. This being a user to user forum, you are unlikely to get a response from support here 8-)

Re: BlueIris on Intel Xeon System - slow performance

Hi AdrianW,

I can't help much with the issue, but it would certainly be better if you could rotate the image with the camera - could there be a newer firmware for the camera ?

And the dev's don't visit here much - you will have to send a message to Support.

Re: Android BI App Works Perfectly...but no video

Everything works great if I'm connected to my LAN, but not from outside the network. Hi, are you saying that you can view video and recordings with the BI Android app if you are on your LAN ? That must rule out your phone being the issue. And remotely you can see the BI5 server, just not the video....

Yup, that needs a deep dive. Not had any trouble here with two licenced copies of BI5 running on very different hardware.

Re: Licence key

Which is stoopid for a licensee to have to get approval to install it on whatever PC they see fit at the moment. But... it appears that dems da rulz. I think it is to stop somebody attempting to use the same key on multiple pc's at the same time. It must have happened so they protect against it. It...

Re: Annke C800 question

I think BVR is the only file format that will give you the best functionality with BI5. The BI help file states: It’s recommended that you retain the default, yet proprietary, BVR file format. There are a great many software features which rely on this simple flat-file format. It’s the only one offe...

Re: Object Detection Anomaly

I also think we could do with a simple clear explanation. I have always wondered if these different trigger methods are AND/OR and if they can prevent each other working. Did you look to see if the help file has any new information ? It's possible now we have DeepStack integrated :?
