I may usually be brave or reckless, but I think I won't update until the weekend this time

Re: Paid BlueIris Expert to help with setups

It might help if you mentioned which part of the world you live in

This is a user forum though, and there are clearly a lot of people here with lots of different knowledge and experience. You can ask as many questions as you like, and we can try to answer them :geek:

Re: analog video compression cards, recommendations?

Hi Acme, no response from ipcamstalks [sic} then  I am still using a Euresys Picolo Pro 2 analogue card with the latest version of Win10 Pro 64 bit. They were second hand on Ebay, taken from a professional setup. They are a bit of a faff to set up, as you need to install "Multicam studio", and ...

Re: How to make a clip from any point in timeline?

Hi, I also use 24/7 recording. if you are using UI3, find the time you want on the video, then right click on the screen. Choose "Export as AVI". This lets you set start and stop flags at the bottom, then click on "Begin export". You MUST then click on the link that comes up to save the file. It wor...

Re: Setup Android BI

I can't remember how much BI android has changed between BI4 and BI5, but I think it was as simple as: 1. Being on the same wifi network as the BI pc. 2. On the BI android app, editing settings, and adding the first 5 and last 5 letters of your BI licence, and clicking on "GET IPS". 3. If you then a...

Re: New motion algorithm: Edge Vector

Got myself in a right pickle playing around with zones, then saw this new "edge vector" trigger and thought I'd give it a whirl. It didn't perform very well. I have started using the camera export function to allow me to clone cameras for trigger settings checks, and the best for reliable triggering...

Re: Blueiris BVR Ext.

I've just had a bit of an issue with this. The Police asked me if my cameras actually worked, and then asked me to check a specific time and date. Sure enough I have the footage of what they were after in a 4GB BVR file. I gave it to them as a the full 4GB BVR file, as well as 60MB AVI of the exact ...

Re: What's wrong with 5.0.4.5

Sounds like you have had a lot of problems in the past. I would suggest you back your BI5 up before updating; there are very good instructions on this forum for that. Do you have a particularly sensitive or fragile system ? I have had no problems with BI5 upgrades since the very early ones, and most...
