Re: Board Quota?

Ken needs to appoint a moderator or two so they can help manage the board and kill the occasional spam post I offered to help some time ago, but I don't think Ken wants extra people involved. It HAS settled down a lot since then :( I have "reported" the OP to see if that gets the moderators attenti...

Re: anyone ever see a strange login in your log file?

If you do, doing a VPN into your home network then accessing it “internally” is preferred.
I used to see a lot of attempts every day to log in to my BI system. I now run OpenVPN on my router, and closed the ports. Problem gone.

Re: Green Screen & Washed Out Screen

Hi, I think we need to know what type of cameras they are, and to see the settings to see if something is amiss. I must say that I have not had these issues :(

Is it possible the cameras don't have a fixed (static) IP address ? (i.e. they are set as DHCP). If the original NVR identified them by another means it could be possible. BI5 will be looking at the same fixed IP address as you previously set it to. If you can find the IP address, have a look at a c...

Re: Demo not recording events

I had a similar issue a long time ago with my old analogue cameras. I could see them in the GUI but they wouldn't record. I think that was because they were not outputting a signal that BI could record. Ken responded at that time: It sounds like you may be recording to a format other than the defaul...

Re: which camera thats NOT connected to chinese server?

I am tired of dealing with all these chinese cameras that force you to create an account and tied to some chinese server, are there any preferred cameras for BlueIris that are totally unmanaged? If it is an Onvif camera that you have connected to BI5, then the trick is to isolate your camera networ...

Hi, if you have BI5 installed, the manual can be opened by clicking the question mark at the top of the BI5 screen.

Hi, I don't have that issue, but have lost all of my old Alerts :(
