Re: EZVIZ NVR Setup with Blue Iris 5

Nice one knotpc.

What do you think of BI compared to the original nvr ?

I would be wary of ever upgrading the firmware on the cameras, just in case they remove the "undocumented support for RTSP:554" :!:

Re: Reeolink Cameras Bringing BI to it's Knees :-(

I'm pretty new to BI and only have 2 Reolink cameras (1 Pro 1 and 1 4MP outdoor). They seem to be somewhat more taxing on my computer than anticipated given that I purchased a i7-6700 from recommendations on this forum. Hi carbonatom13, Have you done the usual direct to disc/ drop the framerate yet...

Re: My server PC

AndyPok1 could of course buy cameras that use local SD memory as well, that way they won't totally lose recordings. Probably better to use more than one pc if uptime is important though.

Re: My server PC

but every time I have to restart it, add storage, etc, won't that take my cameras offline?
Yes it will. Only you can decide if that is a problem. Also, if you decide to use Intel gpu acceleration, that would only work with one of your big programs.

Re: Upgrading from older versions without extended support

It does sound like you presently have separate licences that can be used at the same time. The discounted upgrade path from BI4 to BI5 has been to purchase the extended support plan - see https://blueirissoftware.com/#support If you do use this, then your BI4 licence will be converted to a BI5 licen...

Re: r/DE Error Message

Well from your own image, I can tell you that you don't have an error called "r\de". The Arena 1 Left camera is showing "r\Des", and the Arena 1 right camera is showing "er\De". I would hazard a guess that this is a failed address that is simply too big to be shown in the window. Maybe a network dri...
