BI5 cutting clips every 1 min

I have a camera where BI is cutting clips every 1 minute, even though there is constant motion, which I have it set to detect. I can confirm by watching both the squares and the highlighting, yet BI writes multiple 1 min files. This happens both in BVR and MP4, unless I set it to combine clips, it k...

Re: Wyze V3

"Could this be due to the fact that I'm in demo mode and this will not work until I have a license?" No. You're missing something in the settings. Both V2 and V3 beta firmware work with BI 5, registered or demo as I've tried them both. If you want to test out the RTSP feed to either wyze c...

Auto export only certain cameras BVRs???

Hey everyone! I have a few cameras that record on just motion, and then I combine all those clips in one file for the 24hr period. **BTW the combine feature does not work well when recording direct to disk in MP4 format. Till now I've used record direct to disk mp4, but sometimes bi has crashed and ...

Re: Problem with BI5 locking MP4 file

I've had to switch back to the older version, this issue is a show stopper for me.

Problem with BI5 locking MP4 file

I'm having an issue, since version 5.27.12, every time I've upgraded after this version I have had this problem. Until a couple of days ago I've been on 5.27.12 but decided to update to the latest thinking this issue is resolved, but it's still there. Issue: I use an old iPhone6 with a RTSP server, ...

Re: Wyze V2 Setup Instructions

BI5 has a Wyze cam entry, it's Wyze Cam and the model is "V2 with OpenIPC firmware RTSP".
I don't know if this makes a difference at all in the dropoups/timeouts with Wyze running RTSP....

Re: Weird issues after latest update

I'm using 5.0.8.2, and a ton of stuff crashed when I updated. I managed to get most of the cams working again, but now it drops the signal a lot, way more than I've seen it happen before. This is on both wired and wireless cameras. For example, I have 2 Wyze V2 cams, the little cube cams. I use the...

Re: Clarification question on Combine or Cut

MikeBwca wrote: Mon Jan 20, 2020 2:29 am After changing one camera to 'Combine or cut' 24 hrs, it does indeed cut at 24hrs. I'm also using Direct-To-Disk BI DVR.
Interesting, thanks for posting back!
I assume it cuts at midnight, so the 24h video is from 00:00:01 to 11:59:59?

Re: Clarification question on Combine or Cut

Also, just some further things I've noticed here. If saving to MP4, and selecting the time divisions 2/4/6/8/12, the file doesn't get cut properly. I.E. I would like it to start a new file after midnight, that way I can just combine the clips for the full day, but I see that isn't working with MP4. ...

Re: Clarification question on Combine or Cut

Thanks, would appreciate it if you would post back with the result. I'm using MP4, and this function doesn't work as expected, if I put in 12H it still splits videos in more than 2. Tried BVR with 24H, and still got 2 videos. Not sure if either option would be affected by let's say, video connection...
