Re: Forum layout change if logged in

I guess it's a bit like BI5. Everything is adjustable and can be set as you like it 8-)

Obviously there will be default settings before you log in, but the layout when you log in can be changed in User Control Panel/ Board Preferences and look at the four options in the list on the left.

Re: USB Webcams shoiwng no signal? I've tried two different brands

I have used VirtualHere which does allow USB peripherals to be used over an IP network, but I'm not sure if it would be suitable for the constant streaming of a cctv camera - although there is mention on the www of people using web cams like this. For me VirtualHere was used to extend a USBUIRT (USB...

Re: BondFree Solar Wifi camera?

Worth a try then if you can test it and send it back. I found it on Amazon.com and can't see ONVIF mentioned though - it looks like a proprietary user app. It doesn't mention about working with third party nvr's either.

Re: USB Webcams shoiwng no signal? I've tried two different brands

That is, the camera should be working outside of Blue Iris using general Windows software such as Movie Maker or AmCap. ...

Can you have a look in the Help file ? There is a link in my signature. If I remember correctly it had to work with some Windows program first.

Re: Blue Iris Closing Itself Perstistently

Are you using BI5 as a service ? It won't cure it, but it should restart it.
Anything in the Logs ? As usual you may have to set BI5 to create a text file Log to see it.

Re: Camera disconnecting by itself

In a second thread by the OP it was found to be the audio watchdog issue I mentioned above.

In your case Lorex have created a firmware that doesn't work with Lorex nvr's ? That needs sorting at their end, but I would be scouring the internet for a method to revert the firmware.
