Re: Is there a Roku App or FireTV app for BI (Or in development)

tinyCam works great if you don't mind a reduced frame rate. Image quality is still very good. The key is to use a decent streaming device with a little more horsepower than just a basic Firestick. The 4K Firestick will do the job as will the current GoogleTV and AndroidTV devices. The earlier and ch...

Re: Canceled Amazon Prime BDS (Billionaire Donation Service)

We use Amazon a lot since Covid. Our Amazon Prime Visa card cash back savings (5%) on Amazon purchases pays for Prime Membership several times over during the course of a year with an annual limit of $120,000.00. If you qualify for their card and use it for nothing else, it still makes sense to get ...

Re: Baby/pet cam with two way audio?

Blame Reolink!

Pretty weak.

What I find most curious is why not just use the app that accompanies the camera for two-way talk in the first place? That usually works as well as it's going to get with the particular product and platform.

Re: Baby/pet cam with two way audio?

Can anyone suggest a Baby/pet cam with two way audio that works well with blue iris? There are no cams that work worth crap with Blue Iris for two-way talk according to even the IPCT BI apologists and EmpireAndy (Mr. Dahua) himself. One way audio (listen only) seems to be a different story by most ...

Re: Blue Iris Rendering

Hardware acceleration is selected in the main system setup screen (or per camera if no default is established). Basic 'Intel' would be recommended for QuickSync. A Nvidea selection is also available. If established after cameras have already been installed and configured, the 'default' will apply af...

Re: Camera display via WebView

Here is the basic rundown. First, it's been around forever and is a solid platform. Unfortunately it's unsupported these days so you're basically on your own, but with the assistance of a couple online resources that still remain fairly active. https://www.youtube.com/user/tinycammonitor It works co...

Re: Camera display via WebView

WebView? Are you referring to UI3 perhaps? And depending on what is more important, image quality or frame rate, you may be able to get by with tinyCam as a simple and effective solution that offers a variety of display options and sequenced groups or single cameras. It's resolution is very good, bu...

Re: Audio channel keeps disabling at random

This 'Audio Watchdog' seems like a totally useless function whether the camera provides audio or doesn't provide audio..., or sometimes does and sometimes doesn't..., and we seem to have gotten along quite nicely without it until now. Let me guess; it's yet another feature to somehow compliment AI w...

Re: Push Notification not working.

Try triggering the alert push action from a live camera motion trigger rather than using the 'test' function.

This is necessary when testing Pushover alerts these days and may also somehow apply to this situation with later BI releases.

Re: Config/resource goof.

Good luck with the A/C. Had to fire ours up yesterday for the first time this season too. Fortunately it did! So..., the erratic display you're experiencing is not likely related directly to your BI server itself. That said, other unrelated functions and tasks running on the same box could indeed be...
